How To Stay Zen During Corona
Health starts in the mind. During this new era of COVID-19, it is very easy to slip into panic mode. As it affects our way of life, I encourage all of you babes to stay focused on keeping a positive mindset. I know that corona is affecting more than the physical body, it's manipulating our daily routines. How does one get a grip when the world feels so unstable? It’s about living with intentional peace and kindness. If you can base your decisions around being a light to everyone in a state of panic, you will be releasing much needed positive energy. From personal experience, the following has helped maintain a state of zen, and to be in the right state of mind.
Check on your loved ones
This is the time to reach out to the people on your mind. One thing that does not violate the social distancing guidelines is sending virtual hugs. Checking in on the ones you love via text or any social media platform, takes the focus off of the worry and panic that tries to enter your mind. Talking and connecting with other people will remind you that you are still here and present, with others that are going through the same thing. Sending love taps will come back to you and keep you grounded in a time where it feels like the rug has been snatched from under you.
Live with intentional Peace
Watch what you say during this time of universal chaos. Collectively, everyone is in a state of panic. But one thing you can control is what comes out of your mouth. The body is listening, if you speak negative, then the body responds to that. Speaking positive promotes self love and healing, it keeps your mind from wandering into a black abyss of dread. There is always a way to spin something into a positive perspective, for instance if your job is respectively pulling back hours and asking you to stay home. Do not panic, this is a blessing in disguise. This is a time to start focusing on you. You can start meditating and speaking affirmations over yourself. You can look into other forms of income and do intensive research on your next move. Find out more about you during this time, it's not the end, it's on a break to gather your thoughts. If anyone asks “ how's it going?” You tell them, “ Everything is fine…. I am adjusting and accepting the changes in my life.”
Overall, slow down and process this with a positive outlook on life. You are going to thrive during this time if you remain a solid foundation of hope and peace. Do not fight, or be discouraged because that is not who you are. You will get through this, we all will!
